Hi Guys and Girls, I've been riding on the roads for quite a while now, but have never done much (read: any) off road riding. My father and grandfather were big into their bikes back in the day (my grandfather won the International Six Day Trials back in 1950), and I've always been interested in getting into trials myself. My old man still has his old bike (BSA B40 (ish)), and I'd love to give it a go. The problem is, I have NO idea how to get into the sport. I don't really want to turn up to a competition after having never ridden off road, so where would I go to practice etc.? Any help would be much appreciated Thanks, Adam

Check out the Trials Project on www.trialsclubsWales.com and go along to one of their sessions. They're really good and you'll realise when you attend a trial how novice some of the riders are and they still have lots of fun....

Oggie, Thanks for the reply. I've sent an email to Kay an Emily of Project 2000 to ask for some more info. I've found that Dulais Valley MCC are holding a trial near Glyn Neath on Saturday. Thinking I may pop along and have a chat to whoever stands still for long enough!
